Vegetable Briyani

Simple and quick veg briyani  

List of ingredients:

2 cloves  
1 piece cinnamon stick  
2 cardamom  
3 bay leaves  
1 tsp ginger and garlic paste  
1/2 cup pundina  
1/2 cup coriander  
3 green chillies  
1 carrot  
1/2 cup cauliflower  
1/4 cup beans(chopped in 1 inch pieces)  
1 potato  
1 tomatoes (finely chopped)  
2 tbsp ghee  
1/5cup peas  
1 cup basmati rice  

Cooking procedure
1. Add Ghee in pressure pan and heat. Add the masala items cloves, cinnamom, cardamom and bay leaves.Soak the Basmathi rice for 15 mins.

2. Add the chopped onion(lenghtwise) and fry till its transparent . Add ginger garlic paste.

3. Add the chopped tomatoes and fry. Add all the vegetables and fry.

4.Grind the green chilles, pudina and coriander leaves together.

5. Add the green chilli paste to the vegetables and cook for 3 mins.

6. Add the soaked basmati rice and add 11/2 cup of water and pressure cook for 2 sounds.

7. Serve hot with raita and chips.
