Rice : Cashewnut Rice

Number of servings: 2


List of ingredients:
½ cup coarsely grinded roasted cashews  
2 cups cooked rice  
salt to taste  
Popu (seasoning)
½ spoon mustard seeds  
½ spoon jeera  
½ spoon chana dal  
½ spoon urad dal  
3 spoons butter  
4 - 5 curry leaves  
3 red chillies  
a few cashews  

Cooking procedure
Add butter in a pan and add urad dal, chana dal, jeera, and mustard seeds. When the mustard seeds start to splitter, add green chillies, curry leaves and ground cashew. Fry for about 2 –3 mins. Add salt and rice and mix well. Garnish and serve hot.
Any additional information:
Goes well with tomato chuney or pickle.
