Gram flour delicacy of South India
A famous gram flour delicacy of South India.Also known as gramflour barfi.  

List of ingredients:
1 cup gram flour  
1 cup ghee/clarified butter  
1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)  

Cooking procedure
Grease a plate evenly with ghee and set aside.

Heat the ghee, add the Bengal gram flour, stir well and keep aside.(approximately 2 to 3 minutes)

Heat the sugar on a low heat, adding sufficient water to cover the sugar and make thick syrup .

Add the Bengal gram flour/ghee mixture to the sugar syrup and keep stirring on a low heat to remove lumps if any.

Keep stirring till the ghee separates and floats on top.

When the mixture froths up, pour quickly onto a greased plate and shake the plate gently to spread the Mysore Pak.

When it is partly cooled, cut into pieces with a sharp greased knife.

Storage tips:
It will stay fresh for a week
Any additional information:
You may add milk powder in the protion of 3:1 ie 3 parts gram flour and 1 part milk powder
