Colorful Tikkis (US Style)

Just hope you enjoy these as mush as I do.  

List of ingredients:

Toppings
1/2 cups grated raw mango  
1/2 cups finely chopped onions  
1/2 cups grated carrots  
1/2 cups finely chopped cilantro (coriander leaves)  
1/2 cups pomogrenate seeds  
Other
1 Packet (12 Count) hashbrowns from grocery frozen section  
1/2 Cup chana dal (soaked for 1/2 an hour  
1/2 Cup chutney (tamarind-sweet and sour)  

Cooking procedure
1. Soak the Dal first.

2. Mix all toppings together. Looks real colorful.

3. Heat a gridle and add some oil. Place 8-10 Chana Dals on an area and place a hashbrown on top. Press so the chana dal sticks to the hashbrown. Pan roast. Turn the other side and add chana dal to the other side as well.

4. To serve. Place hashbrowns/tikkis on a platter. Place a spoon full of the toppings on the Hashbrowns. Top with the chutney and serve.
