Tips for sun tan and darkness around neck , back and elbows

1.Gently massage saffron or almond oil on the dark area before going to bed for 2 weeks.

2.Dip cotton pads in fig juice, rosewater, or cold milk. Lie down with your feet raised higher than your head, then place the wet pads on your closed eyes. Stay that way for 10 minutes.

3.Dip cotton pads in grated raw potato juice for 15 minutes before going to bed at least 3 times a week.

4.Place cucumber slices over eyes for 10 minutes before you go to bed.

5.Apply a sun screen lotion 20 minutes before you step out of the house during the day.

6.Do pranayama for 5 minutes daily.

7.Do Sarvangasana daily. Lie down on your back with your head near a wall, so you can use it as support for your legs. Lift your legs up into the air, until your feet touch the wall behind you. Support your waist with your hands, elbows resting on the floor. Straighten your legs so they are no longer touching the wall, and your feet and hips form a straight line parallel to the wall. Stretch as high up as you possibly can. Alternatively, simply lift your legs, resting them on the wall, so your body forms a right angle. Breath through your stomach, expanding it while breathing in, and contracting it while breathing out.

8.Dip cotton balls in chilled water and place for 5-10 minutes on the eyes.

9.Take a diet rich in fruits and vegetables and avoid reading late at night, lying down.

10.Every morning gently apply mixture of equal parts of tomato and lime juice; wash after half an hour.

11.Alternate hot and cold compresses under your eyes for 10 minutes. Then apply a teaspoon of almond oil mixed with half teaspoon of lime juice on the dark surface every night before going to bed.

12.For cooling effect to eyes paste of the herb nutmeg (Jaiphala) with milk may be applied all around the eyes and over the eyelids.

13.Get at least 8 hours of good sound sleep.

14. Apply a concealer to the area under your eyes, to hide dark circles. Use a colour that is slightly lighter than the shade of your skin. Apply the concealer gently; do not stretch or pull the skin from this delicate area.

15.Drink at least 10-12 glasses of water daily. I recommend you follow this regime for fair complexion.Follow this twice a week. You will find remarkable changes to your complexion.
