List of ingredients:

  • 250 g rice  
  • 50 ml oil  
  • 1/2 tsp (2 g) mustard seeds  
  • 1 tsp (5 g) urad dal  
  • 1 tsp (5 g) chana dal  
  • 4 red chillies, cut into pieces  
  • 2 green chillies  
  • 1/2 tsp (2 g) turmeric powder  
  • salt to taste  
  • 2 juice of lemons  
  • 100 g cashewnuts, fried  

Cooking procedure:

BOIL rice till three-fourths done and cool. Heat oil and season with mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, and red chilli pieces. Add green chillies and toss. Add turmeric powder and salt. sprinkle lemon juice and cook for a few minutes more.Toss the cooked rice in this mixture. Serve hot, garnished with fried cashewnuts.
