Tamata Ne Batata
Well this is a vegetable that I liked the name so I wished to try. But I did like it. It goes best with the Indian rotis.

- 2 tomatos
- 2 potato
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
- salt to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
Cooking procedure:
1. Boil the potatos. Peal and Cut each to about 9-10 pieces. 2. Cut onion to long thin wedges. Tomato to quarters. 3. In a large iron skillet heat 3 tablespoons oil. When hot add the cumin seeds. When they sprout add onions. Fry to med brown. 4. Now add chilli powder, turmeric and salt. Stir. Add the tomato. Cook covered for 3-5 minutes. Then stir and cook uncovered for another 5 minutes.
Serve hot with Rotis or Puris.
