i am 22yrs unmarried woman, my periods are very irregular of a gap between 2-3 months. once i had a gap between 5-6 months and met a doctor and after that my periods started to be regular but again i am facing the problem. I was recently diagnosed with ovarian cysts. I have one on each ovary, the larger of the two on the left side. My Dr. and I have done the watchful waiting period for about 2months, and now he has me on birth control pills to try to shrink them. I have been taking those religiously for a month now.
