A:
Can a new car be washed within 6 months of purchase?
Priyu,

I've never heard of such a thing. If you dont wash it, it will get dirty and even rust. Please wash it well, and wipe it clean after you wash it.

Q: We live by the ocean so the air is damp. What's the best way to prevent rust with cars? And once the rust starts, what do you do? Thanks.

A:
How do we prevent rusting of the car?
Lisa,

Wash your car at least once a week. Make sure you wax your car every time you wash it. Wax prevents outer elements from reaching paint and other surfaces of your car and help prevent rusting.

There are a lot of good rust preventers, & rust preventing aerosols available in the market today. You can either spray them on or wax them. These help prevent rusting.
